Ambassador for War Child and the DON Foundation
Tooske Ragas, 43 years old, is married and is a very active and involved mother of four children. This commitment to family lies at the heart of her passion for shedding light on social issues and actively promoting social causes. This has led her to make a documentary on HIV Aids in Namibia and to visit an orphanage in the Colombian jungle for Warchild and child-headed households in Mozambique on behalf of the Dorcas relief organisation. Tooske recently travelled to Uganda to visit a Female Gender Mutilation project on behalf of the ZOA relief organisation. In addition to her work for War Child, Tooske serves as an ambassador for the Diabetes Research Foundation Netherlands.
"An impassioned ambassador who has presented many fundraising events of DON foundation in an outstanding manner."
Jaap de Hoop Scheffer , Chairman of the Supervisory Board of DON foundation
Tooske did the Kilimanjaro!
Tooske climbed the 5895 meter high mountain to retrieve as much money as possible for war children, who earn a chance and need our help so hard. With reaching the top she raised thousands of euros for this worthy cause. But you can still give money, see the link below. Thanks for your help!
